The Humanistic Philosophy supports the views presented by the speaker, in the sense that humanism promotes a view that all humans are inherently good, and that they are universal tied together by the morality of humans.
Also, the idea that what we do in life now has resounding effects on the future (Mr. Teszler helping out the German who later saved his life) is reflected in the Hindu belief of Karma.
(Erich)-> This is certainly represented. Also I would say ties is, is the Christian "golden rule." What is interesting though, is the fact that the idea that all humans are inherently good directly contradicts the Christian idea of 'original sin' - now I personally am no believer in such a human affliction. But it is interesting that such a whole-hearted and optimistic idea contradict with the Christian faith.
